I don't know if you guys at frictional games will read this but here it goes.

Thank you.

Thank you for bombarding my emotions.
Thank you for questioning my existence.
Thank you for raising the question, "what is it to be human" and placing that question in a game that is, to coin a cliché, a rollercoaster.

Harrowing, macabre and beautiful, Soma was a joy to play and not a game I will forget.

It is said that games can be an art form like other media, Soma proves that.

Thank you.
Is this your Oscar acceptance speech?.
I'm totally with you. I could completely give up books and movies if FG made more games per year.
Soma is pretty damn amazing, well worth the asking price. Highly recommended.
That's why I love the Ghost in the Shell Franchise so much, too.
I've not seen much of SOMA yet, but enough to notice what Direction it's going into.

From what I've seen so far, I don't think SOMA can get as deep into the Matter as Ghost in the Shell does, especially the Stand Alone Complex Series and the Movies - but none the less, I friggin' LOVE that Topic of Science Fiction / Philosophy.

To the People wondering, Ghost refers to your Mind and Being, while Shell is the Body or whatever physical you're in. Can there be such a Thing like an artificial Ghost in a Machine, becoming self-aware, or what does it actually mean to have your very own Ghost in a prosthetic Body? Is that still "you"? What is being Human, then?

And if something like this, a Ghost in a Machine, is possible - what if said Machine is Part of a Network, like the Internet, with many other Machines with Ghosts - can one retain their Individuality in this vast Sea of Information? With Criminals being able to fake Memories, hack into your Brain, that whole completely new Layer of Reality that's called Perception becomes so much more questionable - and asking this one, four-Worded Question, "What is a Ghost?", has such massive Consequences contained within the Train of Thought resulting from it. It's fascinating.

I can't wait to play SOMA for myself, I already bought it, but my Hardware doesn't seem to be powerful enough.

Just finished the game here.
That was one hell of experience I've never encountered before.

I deeply focused to be in Pathos-II, to be Simon while playing the game,
it was like I, sitting on the Seat, seeing all along, experiencing everything by myself.

So when I turned off the game, I was like, "Wait, am I REALLY the same myself before playing SOMA?"

Thank you Frictional Games, you showed me the new horizon.

.D: So when I turned off the game, I was like, "Wait, am I REALLY the same myself before playing SOMA?"
" 'You' are the accumulation of your experiences."
