I'm at the part where you find Amy hooked up to the power, and have to unhook her to stabilise power for the station. Apparently after this you open the power box in the station and pull a switch to turn on power (acording to a guide I looked up). However, there is literally no switch to pull inside the box, only a screen showing "POWER OFF".

Is this something anybody else has experienced?

I had the same problem on Windows.

fixed it by loading a save just outside the station.

Yeah, just did the same and it worked. Did you open the power box first before going to see Amy? I avoided it when I reloaded the earlier save in case that was it.

I avoided the power box before I saw Amy, didn't want to jinx it =)
