So I just start the game.
I'm in the apartment.
The character is all "Maybe I should drink that stuff doctor gave me before I leave" - something like that.

There is nothing to "drink".
Nothing "flickering" like the other items the developers want you to look/interact with.

What a POS game. Playtesting=fail.

Just empty mugs and fast food cups everywhere. Found a thermos. Nah, not what I'm supposed to "interact with".

Searched everywhere.

Maybe it bugged out and never spawned.

Maybe this turd made with Unity?
That'd at least make some sense.
No wonder I got it free.

Good advice, ZZ_Kilroy, but I wonder if it wouldn't be better just to tell NerevarineGMSV to give up now. Soma is wasted on him/her.

Getting frustrated in the first room isn't so strange, but assuming it's somehow the game design or playtesting at fault, and not the user, well... it makes me despair. Nothing good will come from this.
- The tracer randomly spawns at a number of set points (cupboards, drawers, medicine cabinet).
- The tracer will respawn in a different location when you reload that save.
- It is possible that there are unusual spawn behaviours associated with partially explored rooms where an exit and reload is then performed.
Spawning medicine that sucks.
Found spawning tracer fluid, but now dont know how to take it. Fooled with it every which way and no go. So I cant leave appt either.

This is no fun.

That must be frustrating. A hint comes up when you first pick up the tracer fluid (or any interactable object): just left-click when the object is shown in your hand. So you click once to pick up the tracer, then click again to drink it. I just tried it, worked fine.
