It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

When I try to start the game I get the "Exception" message: "looking for registry node with empty name (eregistry.ccp 115).
Anyone have any idea what this might be about? I've tried reinstalling and I've contacted Customer Support but I haven't heard back.
If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Try reinstalling/downloading the game using a different method of download? If you used the downloader try downloading it with the browser and vice versa. See if that helps.
Also, try running the installer in Admin mode and turn off your antivirus before installing the game. It could be interfering.
Thanks for your reply.
I tried all your suggestions, but didn't have any luck. It really seems to be an odd error message. I wonder if it could have any thing to do with the copy protection that was removed.
On a side note, I made a small error in transcription of the message and the ".ccp" is actually supposed to be ".cpp".
Thanks again.
Hmm.
Have you tried diving into the registry and look for the CD Key of the game? I think it may have something to do with that. Perhaps the game is looking for a CD-Key in the registry and since it cannot find one it kicks out.
I have encontered the same problem. Did you solve this one?
i have the same problem too.
pic attached is the error it shows when it crashes.

I have done as the first poster did. Sent an email to the GOG Support.
But with the same result. No reply here either.
And i have the same error as you roders.
And i can not find any solutions regarding this other places either.
But if there is no solution to this problem, is it possible to have the game changed?

I had a vaguely similar error, which referenced a save file path. The game has been crashing very frequently for me (Vista64). At some point it corrupted my most recent save file (which was odd, as the crash was some time after the save). I removed the save file from the save directory and it started fine (of course I lost my progress GRR). The save directory was in:
SoldiersMainFolderWhereverItIsOnYourMachine/
profiles/
WhateverYourUserNameIs/
save/
TheGameLevelYouWerePlaying/
Each save is its own folder. Try removing the most recent one (or handful) and see if you can start the game. Again, the weird thing about this is that it prevents the game from even starting; you'd expect it to only cause problems on load, but it completely prevented launch.
I am having the same problem, I do not even have UAC enabled so it is not a administrator problem.
