Are you serious? You are selling 20y old game for 10$ EACH?? You gotta be kidding me. This whole Trilogy is 10$ worth.
Lower your prices this is way too much for such an old game. If this trilogy was like 5$ on sale you would actually make some money...till then hope it works for you...but i think it's not selling that well....
That's your personal opinion. Personally I think the first game alone is worth more than 10$

Yea and it's my personal opinion that people aren't buying this because nobody will pay 30$ for games that are 20y old.
I can buy better games for that money. I would love to buy this but i'm not paying half the price that i payed for these games 20y ago. And it's also my personal opinion they would have sold more and made more money if they sold the whole trilogy for 15$.

The entire point is that the game sells really well. If you actually want the game you are gonna pay whats asked or wait for a sale that happens all the time.(Like they are on sale right this second I write this) Plus if you actually think about it: This is the only place you can buy the games DRM free. And your perception that people wont pay 30 dollars for 3 games that are 20+ years old is very inaccurate. There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of people that do that on a daily basis. These games are not really sold for brand new gamers. They are sold for nostalgia and preservation.

You also gotta think about it like this: You get 3 pretty good DRM free games for about 30 bucks instead of 60 dollars for 1 shitty AAA title that has DRM that you will lose access to in a few years. 30 bucks in total for 3 old games regardless is extremely cheap. They gotta get some profits off selling the games as well. Licensing and stuff aint cheap in any scenario. You are essentially asking them to sell stuff at a loss just because you are a cheap ass and cant part with a few bucks if you want something.

Its entirely up to you if you wanna purchase something or not. Just dont shove an opinion that comes from your ignorance in how pricing works around as if it was gospel.

"I can buy better games for that money" then go purchase those games you feel is better in your opinion. 10 dollars for 1 title is extremely generous pricing. Its extremely annoying to see people come and complain about inconsequential stuff like "super cheap pricing should be priced so I basically get it for free and you sell it at a loss"

If you got legit criticism then go for it. This just ain't it, mate.

Yea and i can get witcher 3 for 15$ and that game is 5y old and has more content in first 3 quests than this whole trilogy.

This is legit criticism. This is overpriced by a margin of at least 300%. This is typical behaviour of greedy company. this isn't a remaster or ramake. It's a 20y old game. This on sale should be a 2$ pick up.

I own this game already. i bought it new years ago. Why in hell would i spend 10 $ on something i already own? And people that buy this are people that arelady played this 99% of them i'm willing to bet on it. Nobody will buy at this price. I'm willing to bet their sales are doing poorely for that exact reason.

You still don't get it I see. This is NOT legit criticism. Yo are simply a cheap ass that thinks everything should cost pretty much nothing. YOU are not the market. The market DECIDES the price. It really is that simple. I have already talked to tons of people that feel the game is extremely cheap and completely disagree with your opinion. Just as I have talked to people that in some capacity agree with you. but the market as a whole decides what a game is worth. Why do you think some games on here cost like 1 dollar? Cause nobody actually buys them. Games that sell have a higher price. It has nothing to do with greed. It has everything to do with the time and effort that they put into getting these games so you can even purchase and run them.

I mean shit you are completely ignoring the fact that most games run without any tinkering "out of the box" from GOG. Do you know why that is? Cause they spent time making sure they run on new systems. Obviously not all games will work for everyone without some tinkering. But the amount of time, effort and money they throw at these games to make sure YOU as a consumer can STILL enjoy these games today is worth way more than 2 dollars. I have heard people say "But they just take already existing fixes that gamers made and put that in" which is obviously the case in certain games. But it takes time researching what fixes work the best and all that. And at the end of the day that costs money since you have to actually PAY people to go looking into that stuff. So that argument is not valid.

And like I even told you before: This company sells old games for preservation and nostalgia users. And what is a good and bad game is COMPLETELY subjective. You mentioned Witcher 3 being a good game for 15 dollars. My personal opinion is that Witcher 3 is a complete waste of money cause its one of the worst games on the market. Now do I go around throwing that as an argument why I believe Witcher 3 should get removed from sale or be sold for like 2 cents? No because I know I am not one of the people who that game is marketed towards. I also respect that people like and pay way more than me for stuff I would never spend money on. And the ones it is marketed towards love that game and they would throw hundreds of dollars at that game if they could. Some of them even have already.

Your criticism is NOT legit. Just cause something is old doesn't justify the price being practically free. The sooner you learn that the better. What determines pricing is the market vs capacity. How many buys the game vs server costs to allow people to download it over and over again. they need to get their money back. And Like I also stated before: The games are FREQUENTLY ON SALE FOR LIKE 1-4 DOLLARS A PIECE. Which makes your argument even more useless since you could just wait for sales that happen on a daily basis if you really want it.
Yes when i can buy older games that offer MORE CONTENT for cheaper my criticism IS LEGIT. These games are overpriced. Deal with it fanboy!

You don't know the market demand and no actually the price is set by the seller. Supply and demand doesn't work here because nobody else is selling this game.

*sigh* you still dont understand how anything works do you? And nowhere else to buy? You can buy these games on tons of websites across the internet. GOG doesnt exclusively sell these games. But GOG is by far the cheapest. They literally sell the game for less than 50% of what everyone else sells them for. Your criticism is not criticism. Its a complaint made out of being a cheap ass and being subjective in your game taste that everything you feel is "bad" should be super cheap or practically free when in fact the games are not bad just because you feel they are so instead of actually doing any research into the matter at all. I found tons of websites selling the games in various forms just by googling. And the cheapest website outside of GOG sells 1 of these games for 20 dollars. Go complain to them as well will you?

"You dont know the market" thats not really an argument mate. I know more of the market than you do at the very least. Why? Because I have ACTUALLY looked into the market. You very clearly havent. I even went around these past 2 days asking people about the games, if they have bought it, what they bought it for, when they bought it etc. And its an overwhelming "I bought it now during the pandemic on GOG cause it was so cheap" and "Well 10 bucks is pocket change so I could part for that with a game like this"

The ONLY people that I chatted too that had any sort of agreement with you stated "Well its just not my kind of game. But it is a cheap price to pay if you like games like that"

So you dont have any understanding of the market. Look at ANY industrys market and see what people spend money on and how much people are willing to spend on things they like. It really isnt that hard. I didnt spend 10 years WORKING as a MARKET ANALYST to sit on GOG and lie to some random guy who is a cheap ass that couldnt stop himself from complaining about an already super cheap game just cause he wants it ultimately to be practically free.

You should really grow up and learn how things ACTUALLY work.

Supply and demand work in ALL sales no matter if it is a monopoly or not.
