Hello everyone,

I am about to throw in the towel here. I have downloaded the latest sof patch a dozen times or more and every time I try to extract the contents of the zip folder I am met with an unexpected end of data error aka corrupt file pointing to base\sofplus-fonts.pak. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you solved the problem? I've got the same problem, SOF Plus patch is corrupted. Tried to download it a few times, no change.

Today I grab first patch from http://sof1.megalag.org/sofplus/ to gog version. Extract to Soldier of fortune folder.
Run sofplus-client-patch.cmd, next find and extract sofplus-client-20140531.zip and accept all change files.
Everything works great on my Imac with bootcamp Win10.
This great game is unplayable without SOFPlus

Just tried it today, worked for me too. Too bad SOFPlus can't get rid of the horrible mouse acceleration. PC Gaming Wiki links a registry fix but one that affects windows as a whole, and I'm not interested in that...

kalirion, Everyone should install that mouse acceleration fix as standard anyway. It's always amongst the first things i do when installing windows, since Windows 7.

The download includes .reg files for different OS styles of handling acceleration, disabling acceleration, and also .reg files to reset back to defaults.

I'm on Windows 10, my mouse doesn't have acceleration and it behaves just fine. Outside of games like this which force acceleration that is. I don't want to do registry changes across my entire system for one game.

I keep getting the error too ... any ideas guys? Or Should I just not play this game?
