Is there any other mods that help the game on modern hardware. Is it playable w/out the SOF PLUS?

SOF Plus is the best, and I don't know any others.

Copy and paste the link in cool2000m's post into your address bar and you can download the mod from a cached version of the website.

What the hell?!? So anyone that doesn't have SoF Plus is pretty much stuck with a broken game and no widescreen support if they happen to have issues? Ridiculous.

Its Gone now. I got the client and server but the other link is dead. It's gone from the server.

Gog should take this down unless it's playable vanilla?

It's there. You have to copy and paste the link in the first post. Just clicking it takes you to the live version of the site for some reason.

If you still can't get it to work, I can upload the mod somewhere for you.

I had some oddities getting them at first using the link but it seemed to work after a few tries so you may want to try a different browser.

Thx Activision for not letting us have the maximum amount of fun with SoF in widescreen etc. No idea why but I had a feeling that some kind of bullshit would happen when I saw the series appear here. What an unnecessary dick move.

So they're trying to force people who have already bought the game to buy it again on GoG to be able to play it on their modern PC's? That's disgusting, but not surprising for such a sleazy publisher. Somebody call Jim Sterling...

What I meant is having it included in the game's installation on GOG.
Since adding community fixes isn't something unheard of for them, that would be the best solution, assuming they can do that, legally.

Because now, it would be possible for them to make money from that old game again.
