I was trying to start a new campain and after the game is done loading all i get is what i think is an emtpy skybox.

am i missing something or what?

I looked on the Steam page and saw the developers posted about known issues they're working on. One of the issues was this:

"With the 1.0 release we've unfortunately run into a few annoying bugs, that we'll be working on to fix as soon as we can:
The biggest one is the black screen / clouds / crash when starting the campaign due to a missing video codec. Workaround here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1096530/discussions/1/2998794978528957168/?ctp=2"

I'm not sure if that's the bug you're experiencing, but if it is, hopefully there's a patch soon.

I'm thinking I have the same issue as you do, characters all made, startup campaign with selected characters and it goes to the tavern loading screen, tells me to press any button to continue when done loading and then I get stuck in a screen that looks half gray on the bottom and the upper half looks like clouds.

Hopefully they fix it, but if they've acknowledged it and are working on it I'll hold off on asking for a refund.

Also none of the work arounds worked for me, the ones posted on steam.
