during char creation the game shuts shuts down my pc causing a spontaneous reboot.
I have never played the game just bought on 1/18/25
deleting and reinstalling is not the greatest as I have a slow connection.

pc specs win 10. i7 4790, 16 gb ram, rx 570 8gb, radeon drivers are up to date whql as is dx12.

I assume you're using Galaxy (otherwise you'd have the offline installer). Instead of reinstalling, you could try the "Check / repair" option from the "manage Installation" menu on the installed game page. Normally that won't download a lot (unless if some file is damaged of course, but that's what it's supposed to do).
