anyway to make the game not lag in certain areas? I'm not going to buy anymore dotemu ports but since I got this on sale, it'd be a waste not to get everything I can out of this.

the lag for twinkle star sprites. sorry, didn't realise the forum was for snk as a whole.

By "lag" do you mean the slowdown? It's kinda sorta part of the game, most emulators do it to keep the experience as accurate to the original Neo Geo hardware as possible. The only way I know of to play Twinkle Star Sprites without slowdown is to play the Dreamcast port, as it has a toggle option.

I'd shudder to imagine playing against the final boss without slowdown...
