From the changlog:

"- Your characters age is now displayed on the personal screen. If you get older, your character will look older. By 70 years your hit accuracy and navigation skills (travel speed) decline. There is a cheat to turn aging off - if you really don´t like this feature."

I can't find it in the options, and given that this was the deciding factor in my purchasing the game I am getting kind of frustrated.

Click around the red circle to bring up the cheat menu which has the aging cheat.
Greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thank you!

I have had a chance to play the game before at a friend's place, but never realized there was an aging feature as well. I don't think that it is likely to get in the way of usual gaming, but I would like playing at least one play-through with an intent to play the game as 'unending tale' and see how far I can take it.

For such purposes, the option of disabling the aging is very good. Its not a bad feature to have at all, but the option to disable it for at least some games is very useful.

You can make a mini quest to prolong your life too. I believe it hurts the game experience to remove the age limit. The age cheat is just included, because some people complained anyway.

Well, I do believe in playing the game as is fair for most part, but there are times when a fellow wants to just relax, kick back and not mind a little cheating getting into it. After buying the game I've been enjoying a leisurely journey through the merchant route and trying to first drive through the 'easy goal' of pushing the Federation to triumph from the sidelines...

I imagine there's a lot of fun ahead to be had, and again I don't see the aging as a bad addition, but if I do end up wanting to play one particular game at length, semi-"immortal" even, it is fun to have the option to do so. I am not saying I want to use it constantly, but having the option there is in my opinion a nice touch.

Anyhow, I meant no offense by any means.
