Hey guys. The expansion is out now. How do I get a carrier -class ship. I already have a battleship. Also, is there any way to gain a battleship besides boarding and taking over an enemy one?

Not sure if it´s still relevant, but you can get a carrier-class ship by boarding and capturing it. You encounter them when directly attacking the HQ of a fleet invading one of your systems. This is a new feature. In Secession you could not directly attack an attacking fleet.

Jalkath aliens can buy a battleship. This is also a new feature in Smugglers 5: Invasion compared to Smugglers 5: Secession.
