i cannot save the game. After the first Dungeon, came the first Tutorial-RTS and when i press Select/ESC i have the option to save. But ...

First i save and quit after start i must choose the language again and i must start a new game and cannot load.

Thats why i habe seen, when i save, the save appears in the save dialog and when i go out and go to save or load no savestate was visible.

The game crashes when I try to save, and I can't leave the tutorial either. This is pissing me off big time.

Same issue here. Game language opens in German and nothing saves. Oddly enough the game is creating save-files in the installation folder. Potentially the good news is a patch could correct the save-read error and progress is not lost.

I notice quite a bit of activity in the Steam forum and two "hotfixes" have been released but not here (and patch notes do not connote this specific issue)

Ok, I ran the game as administrator in Windows 10 and it solved all my problems.

Edit: another method, install the game outside of "Program Files (x86)" directory, "c:/GoG" for example. It works when launching from gog galaxy.

Yeah my default install path is "C:(game)" and I still had issues. Admin-privelages is a weird workaround but good find anyway.

Yeah the steam versions are fresher.

I hope this fixes comes quickly here on gog.
