It's easy enough to set up the XBOX 360 controller as a joystick in game and it works well. However, I'm having a slight issue with it sometimes drifting slightly even though the stick is in the middle.

Also I wasn't too sure about buttons to use so I've set X and Y as fire and select and the top right button as accelerate. This is ok now that I'm used to it but does anyone have a better layout?

how did you make more than 2 buttons to work? I can only get the game to recognize 2 dif buttons so at the end i have to put 2 actions with the same button.

I used the right bumper for accelerate (it calls it "J1B2" in game) which let me use two buttons for select and fire.
