Hi all,

there seems to be an upgrade featuring a track editor. However, in both Linux and Windows versions, if I try to run the editor, I'm getting "disconnected" message and I'm not able to access it. Does it happen to the rest of you or am I the only one?

edit: I solved the problem, see post #3 in this thread for solution. Apparently, I can't mark my own post as a solution or change the topic subject, sadly.

This happened to me too and I'd like to know why this happen
Good news, I figured it out. There is another program you need to run to edit tracks, and this program isn't included in the game package and it isn't available on GOG. You have to go to the Modding section of the official website for the game https://slipstre.am/modding/ - there's thorough information about modding and editing tracks and also the main thing we need - links to get the tools for editing tracks.

You'll find out you need the "bride" tool to edit tracks. It's actually open source, so you could go to Github and compile it yourself - or (as I did) you can go to GOG's competitor site where you can download compiled executables (the links are on the page above). There's no need to pay anything to get them. In the download, you've got the "bride" executable, which you need to run after you get the "disconnected" message from the Slipstream editor, and after that, the bride tool connects to the Slipstream editor and you can edit your tracks.
