Thanks for the mod support. I think it's an extreme pity that users of drm free games can't download mods from Steam. I don't want to buy the game twice for that reason. With other games, the download of workshop content also works without the purchase on Steam. I hope the developer reads this and can change it. This is currently severely limiting mod support for drm free games or making it a bit unusable at the moment.
