For some reason, whenever the game tries to display in fullscreen, random icons from the desktop and taskbar keep flashing on and off the screen, as if it can't focus or keep the process at the front, and you can start accidentally clicking icons from behind the game window.

This makes it pretty much impossible to play. None of the graphics options effect this in any way, and I've tried disabling all GPU acceleration, which also had no effect, so I'm pretty lost as to what else I can try as of now. Really want to start playing this game again!

Specs:-
Win XP32 pro latest service packs
Intel 3.0Ghz dual core
4GB RAM
GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB

Contact Support on the matter. You do have a few days left to request a refund if Support cannot help you get the game running.

I had the same problem. For me, it only happened when then NVIDIA Control Panel was open in the background (even minimized).

I had the same problem. It stopped after I added the game to the Windows Firewall exceptions list.
