The game crashes on launch i don't know what the issue is and i need help.

In my case when the 3DFX logo shows up and I click anywhere it will make the game crash. Maybe this is the problem in your case too. Launch the game and wait until the music starts to play and the intro text appear.
I don't know if this occours with the GOG version. I have the CD with the patches and launch it through nGlide.

Mine does this too, but I have a windows 7 64 bit system. I Did update it from an old vista machine, about 2005-06 ish, so it's kinda a clunker but it sure should be able to run this game! it just crashes while it's trying to load.
