You can delete szHardware.ini (or better, rename it so you have a backup), and the game will try to detect other rendering options on the next launch.

Doesn't work. You can't change the renderer when deleting szHardware.ini. The only way to change anything is through the nGlide settings, it seems you can't do anything in the graphics menu in-game because the game won't accept changes when you click "Apply changes". Please have a look at the following thread as well:

I have found that with my Graphics card "Nvidia 250 GT" that this game wont play higher than 16bpp for me

and the game doesn't seem to work natively in widescreen
