It looks like the steam version of Slain is going to get Patch 2.0 today.

Does anyone know if this is coming to the GOG version too?

They said in the Steam discussion they will let people know when as soon as they "nail it down", so don't expect the patch today. I guess they focused on the Steam customers and did not bother to ensure that people who gave them money through other platforms are treated equally.

It looks like they are handing out free Steam keys to Slain owners on Steam, but not really interested in that - just want the GOG version updated!

They said it'll take about a week for the patch to get to us. Plus, no word on whether or not we get a free gifting key like the Steam buyers do.

So get comfy folks. We GOGers have to wait a while yet.

As long as they get shit fixed, I can wait. I have a lot of games to go through..

It's good to know we'll be getting it eventually, I was worried that it wouldn't come through at all.

Us Gogers may have to wait, but at least we'll have the "timeline" of releases - I actually quite liked v1.0 and it's great that I can still play that version

One of the developers (I think) commented on Steam that the GOG patch would be up by August 7th.

Looks like the devs are also requesting gift keys for GOG customers, too. The forum thread Mizark80 posted above indicates as such anyway. Fingers crossed!
