Seriously, this game has gone from a joke to required playing!

Controls are tightened up immensely, combat is incredibly satisfying, and they got rid of all of the things that made the old version feel like an unfinished game (no enemy flinching, useless dodge, no QTD option, etc.). Awesome stuff!

Does anyone know how to change a review on GOG? I have one of the front page ones and I'd like to change it in the hope more people will check Slain out and I couldn't find an obvious way to do it.

With all due respect to the staff at gog, this is a great example why we need to be able to edit our review after they are published.
It is a musthave now!

The controls are perfect. The graphics are fantastic (if you like 8-bit/16-bit retro graphics).

Only the ending is a littlebit disapointing. And I think the game need a hard dificulty mode with less checkpoints. It's a bit easy right now. But that's with most games.

I would like to change my review too. Not that I burnt the game into the ground, defently not.
But to just let people know it's an awesome game, with the latest patch.

Yeah, the game looked right up my alley and it was such a downer to find out that it got released to early and was broken.

I kept coming back in the game's forums in hope of hearing about a patch that would fix things so thanks for the info.

Got the game 50% discounted, but I guess I'll still wait for patch 1.25 to be released here before starting to play to get the best experience.

I've been following the patch news by their new programmer over at Steam and I too gotta say I'm so looking forward to finally play Slain! when the polishing is complete. Made me happy to see it on sale!
