Just ran through the first section of the Back from Hell update. Good grief, what an improvement! Gave up on the original because, well, it wasn't an enjoyable experience by any stretch of the imagination. But Back from Hell is exactly the type of game I expected Slain to be at launch.

I've been super happy with Slain after the first more-or-less emergency patch that was released a while back. Downloading this new version and checking it out tonight! w00t! (I play it on Linux)
