The game is crashing after the introduction scenes (when the camera fades out to begin gameplay)

I have tried all sorts of compatibility modes so far, and am quite disappointed this is happening. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you playing the English or German version of the game ?. If it's the German version, maybe try playing the English version and see if that helps sort your problem out ?. If it is indeed the English version you are in fact playing, then I can not offer any help with the problem you are having...

Still not working to this day... :(

Maybe a general problem with newer generations of Intel processors? This error leads also to crashes after the intro scenes.
