anyone else having this ? it feels like the game kinda pulls me back one frame whenever i run in any direction and i've already tried most of the fixes which are out.

I don't know of this problem, but you could try limiting your framerate and see if changes the behavior. The game is built on the Quake 2 engine, after all. Try 60 or lower. I'm using an NVIDIA card, the frame rate limiter that comes with RivaTuner works perfectly. There is also NVIDIA Inspector which lets you access hidden GPU settings, among them a built in FPS limiter.
