treat: Unfortunately this causes movement to become real janky. Blade will often "slide" left or right while moving forward and stuttering/rubberbanding is almost constant. It makes the game unplayable, but not as unplayable as the repeated crashes I'm getting with QeffectsGL.
That's probably because you're running at a too high framerate. You need to limit framerate somehow.
DxWnd is another solution for high resolution widescreen with large UI size. It has less problems with artifacts at certain resolutions than QindieGL + Universal Resolution Changer, but it's much harder to get working properly.
Does this patch also work for Wages of Sin?

cool2000m: ... well besides the gameplay problems. Look up a mod called "Sin: Resurrection" to fix that :D

Download here!

List of fixes:

widescreen: uses 1920x1080 and has a simple-to-use resolution patcher (thanks to the sinpatcher utility!)
qindiegl: replaces nglide in order to work with widescreen, uses 32 bit color and textures
indirectsound: fixes 3d audio and EAX!

config.cfg tweaks:
-raw mouse input
-FOV optimization: Uses 106.26, which is the widescreen version of the 4:3 90 fov. USE THIS WITH EVERY 4:3 GAME WITH A DEFAULT OF 90! (Instructions for 16:10 monitors included)
-wasd + mouse keys set

Is there anyway you can make a step by step on how to get this to work in the game as im very new to modding and pc games but i really want to play this.
Shameless self-promotion of my own thread:

Game still uses OpenGL with this, no "wrapping to D3D" needed. Uses QeffectsGL, but without crashes.
Anyone having problems with the Ultimate SiN patch may want to try "Sin Patcher" from PCGamingWiki.

It might have something to do with graphical setting. I don't recall how I fixed mine exactly but try customizing your own settings, except keep the resolution you prefer (Typing the desired value by opening the Sin Patcher and keeping it 1152x864 in game's own options). Putting anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering on low in the options might help as well (You can force better ones from graphics driver panel).

You can also fix the frame rate by opening the console after the level loads then enter cl_maxfps XXX (XXX being your desired frame rate). Between 60 to 100 should do it.

All of this sounds like hassle and it is, but finally finding a way to fix it has its own reward :)
