Playing the expansion pack, I'm in the fight with Manero and he just turn invisible, JC advice that I use my ThermOptic Goggles but they doesn't seem to be in my inventory, even though I got them and used them in previous levels.

I watch a walkthrough of someone who play the non GOG copy and he does have the goggles, anybody encounter this problem before, is this a bug in the GOG release? Does anyone know any cheats that would give me the goggles?

You lose some of your inventory items in one of the prior missions, but you do get an opportunity to pick up the goggles again, I don't remember which exactly, but it's in a crate between 1 and 3 missions before the Manero fight. I had forgotten to pick them up, so I had to fight him by getting up close enough to see him, and by tracking his shadow.
