I submitted a ticket to GOG support, but I wanted to make a post just in case. Am I the only one who noticed the topless woman in the SIN Gold preview pics? Is this even a problem? While I don't care that it's in the game, I find it a little strange that it's displayed on the store page. If there was some sort of age verification I can't imagine it would be a problem.

If you using that site it's obviously meant you have right age to buy, use and view game content in some way but so much dillema for blurred pixelboobs really? Shadow Warrior has more that kind of stuff.

This certain screenshot is reason to provide visible proof that game is complete, original, uncensored to play they way it was made and supposed to be as a whole package.

The texture is so low resolution it probably constitutes censorship anyways. I think it is very obvious the GOG staff made this screenshot expressedly to showcase the game's use of nude pictures. It is not like the texture is seen in the background so I'm not sure why you would think it happened on accident. Also, "Am I the only one who noticed the topless woman?" is a very funny question to ask in a place with thousands of male visitors.

The green boobs from The Witcher screenshots on the other hand...
Tons of blood and gore? No problem!
Low quality boobs you can barely recognize? Oh the humanity! Think of the children!
I don't know where you're from, but I can assure you that the rest of the world likes boobies and doesn't have a problem showing them.

He's from USA, you know, that country where blood, guts, gore, brains are all wide open on TV News yet biggest crime against morality is naked butt and nipples in public. I think your country law are strict but with more sense than others. Another one known from banning/censor stuff is Australia. Maybe not everywhere and always still, there's nothing to be ashamed in admiration the beauty of female form.

Heh... I already knew where this was going to go before there were any replies. Carry on!

I haven't checked because I didn't want to turn this discussion into a 'murica hate thread. I'm sure there are a few other places where nudity is taboo. I just wanted to inform the op that different cultures and societies have different moral values. And boobs aren't an issue in most parts of the world if shown in an appropriate context.
OP is from USA, says it all :D

Wonderful country and people but weird mentality. ;-)

Gee... Thanks for the stereotyping. While it maybe no surprise, it shouldn't also be a surprise that not all from the USA entirely agree. I'm indifferent myself.

As far as the "blood, guts and gore is okay" is concerned, we have our groups here who are very vocal against that as well.

Worried about what your kids are looking at on the web (or TV)? Then it is up to the parents to keep watch, not the public. That is my take on all of this, in a nut shell.

You must be stuck in the 90's if you really believe these are accurate descriptions of America. All those stand up comedians, the hack news paper shorts and the sensationalist street interviews. All of that was satire, exaggerating the words of a few Americans for comedic effect.

Say "gun control" and prepare yourself for a few hundred uninformed opinions from European welfare state citizens often with statistics they misrepresent.

Chill, I didnt mean to offend.
As was said, you guys ale more tolerant to violence, less to nudity, while here over the pond its the opposite, thats all I had on my mind.
Age verification to protect children from looking at ...boobs? Seriously?
You know what an utter is for?

Spoiler:

It has something to do with SUCKING!
Has no one considered the possibility that the OP was merely concerned with some one else making a complaint that possibly lead to the game being removed in true "sex-hating American fashion"?

Yeah it's unlikely that a kid could purchase the game on their own, but as he states there's no age restriction for viewing it. Not that it changes much, I think most kids are smart enough to click "Yes, I am over 18" :P
