I have just started playing this game,,currently in level 3 and somehow the game lacks a health recharge concept, unless i am missing something fairly obvious. I didnt find any recharge stations or first aid drops. The manual talks about stim packs/some kind of injections couldnt find them either.

Is this a survival game?

Search all the bodies. Some (set) enemies carry health, and others have whatever armor they're left with after you've shot them. And I think health pickups are a thing too, but may be a little bit hidden.

Lol yes.. you got to press the use key. It's somewhat inconsistent, walking over ammo automatically replenishes the counter so there was no way to know.. thanks.
