Hi, I just got started with SiN Gold and there's been one thing that's really bothering me: the text font has some scaling/lines issues that I find distracting. I attached an image below. EDIT: In case the problem is not obvious, I'm talking about the lines above "m", "o", and the numbers for instance.

I installed SiN, went into the folder to use nglide_config to change resolution to 1920x1080 and started playing.

Notice that this is only the menu/dialog font. Not the in-game font (ATMs, Billboards etc.) ATM and Billboard fonts get white lines around them as soon as I turn Anti-Aliasing on (real AA, not FXAA), so I disabled that (too bad). So this is a separate issue.
I have the feeling that this might be a texture scaling issue where individual letters are cut from a texture and the starting coordinates are rounded off instead of being rounded up. But I have no idea how to fix that. Please help!

Try this - press tilde to open the console (key next the the left of your 1 key). Type the following:

set cl_maxfps 60

Well, what is that supposed to fix? I have problems with the game font, please see the picture. Not with the framerate as such.

I tried it anyway, but it doesn't change anything font-related.
Ok, so I resolved my problems a while ago.

Basically, there are two types of issues:

1. white borders around in-game letters (ATMs, billboards)
2. menu font drawing/scaling issue with lines across text (described in first post)

Issue #1 only appears when any type of AA other than FXAA is turned on. I resolved the issue for now with turning AA off and just using FXAA.

Issue #2 can be resolved by using a resolution that is 4:3 and supported by your monitor. Apparently, when you use a resolution above what your monitor can display, nGlide silently falls back to the next one the monitor can display, which might not be 4:3.

No AA is a bummer, but I guess that's part of the retro experience for now.
