Can you disable the hud in Sin?

I think it's built on the Quake 2 engine, so likely uses the same commands.

I think to disable the hud in Quake 2 you use one of these console commands:

hud_alpha 0
scr_draw2d 0

Can anyone verify if either of those works in Sin? Please also try the - + keys to see if they do it, like in the original Quake.

It's enough to just press the + key to remove the HUD elements, and you can disable character dialogue text, but as far as I can tell there will still be 'Mission objectives updated' types of messages that appear. There is a setting in the options screen to set where you want the HUD elements to display (left, right, etc.), I don't know enough about the games' variables to find how to disable all HUD elements via console. I hope that helps.
