I'm not sure if this is a per-game setting or how it works but when I launch Simon the Sorcerer from GOG Galaxy it runs with ScummVM 2.0.0. which is 5 years old.

My specific issue with this version: It doesn't work for streaming with Discord.

This doesn't really solve the issue but a decent workaround is just installing ScummVM separately and pointing it at the installation. It will recognize the game and run it just fine.

This is unlikely to get updated, since the original Simon the Sorcerer (now called "legacy" version) was removed from sale 5 years ago when the "Anniversary" edition was released (although fortunately it is still offered as a free goodie for those who buy the new edition). Good that it's possible to point to the game files from a different ScummVM installation.
