I noticed that Simon the Sorcerer 2 got updated to ScummVM 2.0. Is the first game also updated to ScummVM 2.0 as well? Not sure if there's a way to check.

If you have the game installed you can check current version by entering SCUMMVM folder within your game directory and read NEWS.TXT or run scummvm.exe
I checked my old purchase of Simon 1 and it says ScummVM is 2.0, from installer 1.0 (19666). Dunno about 25th anniversary edition or whatwasit old version bonus but it should be the same.
