My first introduction to Simon the Sorcerer was when I played the demo version and absolutely loved it. Sadly, many years passed before I could get my hands on the full version thanks to GOG. I must say even compared to the new games of today, I was impressed by the attention to detail in the scenery, the seemingly endless array of jokes, puns and pointless (but funny) conversations to eavesdrop on, and the sheer lunacy of some of the puzzles; ever wonder how to open a Chocolate Truffle Door? If walking back and forth a couple of times is not your thing then avoid this game, but if you like a slower paced adventure through a witty, sarcastic, sometimes cringe-worthy universe then this is your thing.
