EDIT: This is for Sim City 4

Has anyone else found that after you quit, even though the application exits, there is a process running in the background? I didn't notice it for 4 hours today, until I wondered why my PC was running so heavily. Turned out it was there in the background livelocking 8% of my CPU. I assume that means it was maxing out 1 core (I have 12).

Anyone else finding this?

This happens on my non-GOG version. Just bought it from GOG though, not downloaded it yet though.
Yep. Mine does the same on Windows 7 64bit.

The same here. But I'm using Ubuntu and I thought it had something to do with running it through Wine.
We'll look into it on Monday. If you could sent a Support ticket as well that would be great.

Done. Thanks for following up.
Well, I have the GOG version downloaded and installed now and the process has quit every time so far.

I've had a few issues with custom resolutions, though, but think I have it mostly sorted. Windowed is working fine now at 1600x900. Seems like it only allows you to use resolutions that the display screen allows to be selected from the Windows display settings, so for me 1440x900 isn't available.

However, the fullscreen mode shortcut that GOG have provided is acting strangely. The Windows taskbar is always visible over the top. I could get around this by using Borderless Gaming, which is probably actually a better option for performance, but I'd still like to get true fullscreen working.
