Wondering if anyone has tried to load an old SC2k city save file. I think I have one somewhere, but I'll have to track it down.

Would it make any difference if the save file was from the Windows version of the game?
Short answer, it will work.
Info about Importing Cities From SimCity Classic and SimCity 2000 Macintosh, is in the README.TXT.
It looks like we're even able to convert our Micropolis[sometime] /SimCity Classic Saves to Simcity 2K even, it tells how to convert MAC saved games too!

Here are saved games sites.

Looking on the web the Windows version has problems for people, so good we have the DOS version.

By extension, you can also load and convert the CS2k cities into SC3000.
