This game used to stutter like a big dog. Did they fix it before release here?

First Silverfall was buggy, but they almost corrected all with the expansion, hence Complete edition.
At least, I never had this problem with my old DVDs.

It runs pretty good for me. I did go to mod-DB and grab the mods available. I also adjusted the fonts and the camera. Runs really smooth. Just can't find a merchant to sell off loot.

the potion seller is also part of a quest to get Morka the Troll healer as one of your companions.

Totally unplayable stutters, 460 fps and the game freezes constantly :( Too bad.

I run it at 1024 x 768. Anything higher and the game stutters.

Probably stutters because too high FPS. USe the FPS limiterr in nvidia control panel, or if you dont have geforce, then with msi afterburner!

I'm having the same issue, but it seems like the game ignores the value i set for max FPS for silverfall.exe in the nvidia control panel.

What about running MSI Afterburner and limiting the FPS count via that for Silverfall?

A frame cap does seem to mostly address the stutters, but the Nvidia control panel options don't work with this game. Insead use Riva Tuner Statistic Server:

I couldn't get the overlay in the tool to work but I confirmed the framerate cap function definitely does work with that tool.

I recommend capping the framerate to 60fps.
