I only have one executable file. Starting the game with that one brings up a screen which says 'Silverfall Earth Awakening', and character creation gives me 6 races to choose from. From what I have read, the first game is only supposed to have 4 races, with 2 new ones being introduced in the second game. Have the two games merged together in the Complete Edition, with all 6 races now being allowed in the first 'Silverfall'?

Or am I missing something?

Earth Awakening wasn't a sequel but an expansion pack. So installing both at once would combine the two games the same way that you're getting with the GOG complete edition.
