Hey there, well topic pretty much says it all. My mouse doesnt Work at all in the game. While the cursor itself is moving and changing when you go over characters for example. But then again I can't interact cause the game won't accept my right and left clicks. The mouse doesnt work in the Meno as well. I get the sound confirmation that I am above a menu point to click but clicking just won't do anyhting.

I'm currently using a Logitech G700 mouse and running the game on Win 8.1.

Hope you guys can help me, i really loved this game when i played it a long time ago and was very happy to see it here. I would be really sad if it wouldn't work.

Hey there. Well your problem is pretty sad. I had a similar problem with my logitec a while ago. I could use it without problems, but after a while is reacts and don't reacts until i found out, it was acutally the cable that was broken, do you have any problems like that in different games? Have you maybe tried a different mouse. It can also be a driver problem. If so try to get driverbooster 3 Serial Key: 38A24-42DC3-6BF6B-70CB3, you can also use it without the key. Pretty good program i use it for many years and have no driver problems anymore. It is really difficult to give you some good advice, because there can be so many different reasons that cause the problem.

I have a friend who had problems also with win 8.1 and silver. Administrator rights solved the problem, to do so rightclick on your silver shortcut go to properties then on compatibility. Mark it with Windows XP( Service Pack 2) and run as administrator

I don't have another mouse and driver's are up-to date. The game won't ethen accept the clicks from the mousepad of my laptop xD
Sadly I don't have problems with my mouse anywhere else. Tried it with and without cable. The only option left regarding the mouse is testing with another mouse.
Tried to run the game with administrator rights as well as every compatibility mode avaible, ethen re-installing and nothing worked so far >.>
Though it's funny that it works for a short time when i re-install the game...but really only a short time

Just tried what you said, XP(Service Pack 2) + Administrator rights, it worked for 2 clicks xD but that was it =/

Interesting point that you are using a Laptop. I use a desktop. The reason why i mention this is because in some games the driver for your mousepad of your laptop can cause problems with the driver of your mouse. Maybe you should try to deactivate the driver for your mousepad, and then start silver again. I had have a similiar problem with my old laptop.It switched between those drivers, so i wasn't able to play some games with it. Maybe you should try this first.

Same problem here, I using a Laptop and my mouse dont work perfect. When I see the menü I can move the mouse I see the cursor gone from right to left. But my "clicks" are dosent work. I cant click on option for example. The same issue with my touchpad from Laptop.

i'm struggeling with the same issue here.
Just my mouse moving works perfeclty after playing around with compatibilty settings.
Clicks doesn't work at all and i'm stuck in the main menu.
(Little note: I had the same issue with the game "The guild" when i used the stardard Europa1400Gold.exe. But using the exe with TL (Europa1400Gold_TL) at the ending, i could play the game without any problems.)

Using Lenovo T430 Win10.
Tried towdifferent Logitech mouses and also installed full logitech mouse driver/tool.
1st mouse is easy 3 button (ink mouse wheel) mouse and a 5 botton mouse (ink mouse wheel).
Anyone has any ideas?
