The CD version i have installed takes 3.45 gigs. GOG version is 1.5 gigs? Is that just the executable? What is the installed footprint?

CD version comes with an editor, maybe thats why its bigger?

your installing the installer for the game which will install the actual game the real download is bigger thats why gog download is smaller you downloading the installer
