I'm on the second to last level, I have fought panzerkleins in previous missions, but haven't been issued any for my team. I assumed that after a certain point the team would just get them, but it looks like I'm missing something. Can someone tell me what you have to do to get a panzerklein?

You have to capture PKs during missions - any PKs your team members are driving at the end of the mission(s) will return to base with them.

ok thx
The Axis can be issued panzerkleins if they do the factory mission. They are given 4 prototype models. The allies can steal 4 pazerkleins if they do the storehouse mission. Otherwise the only way to get panzerkleins is capturing them in battle.

I'm playing as the allies and just did a mission where there were a few Panzerkleins behind a forcefield of some sort. Was that the storehouse mission?

No, you can disable the forcefield (there is a switch on the second floor), but you can't take those PKs with you.

Actually, you can take those PKs as well... you have to turn off the forcefield, and turn on the elevator and turn off the alarm if its going off.
