I keep losing messages, as in the window pops up, but its blank.

only thing that fixes it, either closing the program altogether (not reccomended) or alt+r to reset the game. (preferred method)

edit = after playing some more, I determined it has something to do with bringing up the recognition manual. (b key)

soon as I do that, the messages stop being displayed. don't know how to make them come back either.

not really that big of a deal, other than not being able to confirm your last order, see war patrol updates.
