Hi guys,

For some reason when i tried to change my control settings, both the ingame menu and the alternative exe. menu dont see my xbox controller and only my x52 hotas. I tried remapping but pressing buttons or pushing the pad, etc. Does not seem to be recognized at all, only my x52 inputs. Anyone know how to make the game default to my xbox controller instead of the hotas?

Unplug the HOTAS.

Unplugging the HOTAS, allows me to map the xbox controller, but once the HOTAS is plugged back in, it overwrites the xbox controller and prevents it from working. I am hoping for a solution where i do not have to unplug the HOTAS everytime i want to play.

Is this the first/only game from that era that you have this issue with?
I mean, it's an old game - you can't expect every "modern luxury" from it. There are plenty of pre-Xinput console ports that never got any controller support at all.
