nothing seems to work...evrytime i start the game as soon as it gets to the menu screen the game crashes to the desktop.
I have Windows 11, downloaded DirectX, ran everything as administrater, updated everything, tried everything, any advise?

Mine just loads to the KONAMI intro and then the video gets frozen and glitched out.

So I just figured out why mine was crashing everytime it reached the menu and it had to do with me switching my Speakers from my PC to my Monitor. It made me feel so stupid because I tried everything that PCGamingWiki, Reddit, and GoG Forums had to offer in terms of solving crashing issues. It really was a last ditch effort as I was completely drained from searching and trying everything I can to it being something so silly. What's weirder is that every game I was playing from old to new worked perfectly fine while my Speakers were plugged into my Monitor except Silent Hill 4. Hopefully this helps and if not, good luck.
