Just played through this with the mod and got at least 4 of the missing hauntings listed here:
https://www.silenthillmemories.net/sh4/hauntings_en.htm

So indeed we finally seem to have a working mod to restore the missing hauntings.

WARNING I'M ABOUT TO SPOIL THE ONES I GOT

Kitchen Sink
Door Visitor
Wandering Slippers
Closet Shadow

All of those are cut from PC version according to the list and I still managed to get them with the mod installed.

Technically, they weren't cut, just didn't show up because of some bug or typo and Konami being Konami couldn't be bothered to spend 5 minutes to fix it.
And I only find this out now?! Time for replay!
Whenever I open the randomizer.ini file to edit in Notepad/Word, its just a bunch of gibberish/random text symbols. Any ideas on how to fix that? I'm assuming its in a different encoding what my computer is trying to read it as, but I'm not sure what to do.
Is this for definite now? GoG need to include this patch with the release!

Yeah, seems odd that the haunting patch and GOG's version 1:1 fix the same things besides the hauntings, very odd.
Yeah I tried a mod, maybe it was the one mentioned here and never got several of the hauntings, still getting "Mother" on my second playthrough. What mod is it? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the game again to do it right this time?
