Hello,
As you have noticed, updates on GOG are delayed compared to Steam. There is a reason for that, and it's not because we don't care about GOG.
The game uses GOG Galaxy, which always creates technical issues that get in the way of providing timely updates on the platform.
We'd love to have Steam and GOG versions on par. It won't possible until GOG provides better tools to do just that.
