Hello, I have been playing this game as a pure fighter, not a single point spent on mysticism or stealth. Also, all my non-fighter companions have been killed. I am in the middle of the chapter 3 right now and I would like to know your opinion on the following:

1) As a pure fighter, should I also try chapters 4 and 5 (rogue and mage)? I red that especially chapter 5 can be really annoying for someone without any magical skills.

2) How do I skip optional (class specific) chapters? I don't see any option in the game (Anthology edition).

3) I heard that the final boss fight is (almost) impossible for a pure fighter for several reasons. Is it true?

Hi,

chapter 4 is possible, chapter 5 without patch 1.06 not as there are monsters who have 100% resistance against piercing, cutting and crushing.

You can skip those chapters by simply refusing to take the quest. Chapter 4 (conversation with Mudam), Chapter 5 Conversation with Elazar. You couldn't skip chapter 3 because you're a fighter. As hunter you weren't able to skip chapter 4 and so on.

For the final fight in version 1.03.1 it's quite impossible to win without at least some defense magic like protection from fire and ice or at least being able to cast mirror image if you play all chapters. But also remember to have spent some points in mysticism (+10 or so) in order to improve the duration of each spell.
When skipping a chapter Mithras gets -100 HP for each chapter and another -100 if you're a hunter or squire. (e.g. 1,2,3+6: ->950-100-100-100=650HP)
