Hi! So I talked to the page, and then to Sir Roth. If i agree to the Ch 3 quest , I go through all the dialog options, try to end the conversation, the screen freezes for several seconds then reverts to desktop. Reliably. If I refuse the quest, it is fine.
Tried skipping Ch 3. Got through the intro until Pell says she will give me the mask, end conversation... freeze, crash to desktop.
Tried in different compatibility modes. made sure lots of space in inventory. a couple other things, no luck. I guess I could try skipping Ch 4 too and see if i can do Ch 5, but this is getting tiresome & frustrating...

sounds very strange because there isn't anything special in these conversation files.
What does the siege.log say after the game crashes to the desktop.
