Hi guys,
I bought this game having played it in Windows 8.1 on this system without any issues, that was from a CD that I bought. Ran smooth and glitch-free.
As it should, it's an AMD FX8350 CPU and AMD HD7950 GPU, 16GB RAM (was using CCC before, now using latest Crimson 16.3.2 and Windows 10)
Now, I'm experiencing incredible framerate drops in naval battles and certain scenes, such as the scene where pirates are hauling crates in an otherwise still image (after looting a ship), framerate drops below 20FPS.
Also when sailing and there are more than 3 ships on screen, framrate starts dropping below 30FPS.
Fencing and visiting the governor and such is at normal 60FPS.
I've tried everything I can think of, compatibility modes, running in windowed mode, using the lowest resolution and lowest details with every visual enhancement turned off, forcing V-sync, I just don't get it.
The game is unplayable as is. Any ideas on how to fix this?
