Scanned this in from my old box copy this morning. I hope it helps, as this is one of the greatest games ever.

You can delete (or temporarily rename) the "mapper-0.74.map" file in the \Sid...Action folder if you think it's something in there. For me the fast and slow speed controls are the "=" and "-" keys (don't hold down the shift key).

Good luck!

I fiddled around with the mapper file, set it to US instead of european layout -and- assigned the = to the * on the keypad, that seems to have done the trick.

The heck with the manual. I can learn a game just fine through trial and error. But this? This was a great help! Those old DOS games always had the weirdest control schemes...

Thanks so much Ottomatta!

Thank you very much for allowing us to put the player aid card as part of the bonus section for Covert Action, ottomatta :)
