Title really says it all. Most of the links on civfanatics seem to be dead. Rhyse's page is still up, but that seems to be it.
Does anyone have any idea where I might find links to mods? There are so many great mods and scenarios I want to play again! I will be a sad panda if I must play only vanilla. Thanks!

They had a major site redesign this year, so the links have changed, but the files don't appear to be missing.

Hmmm. I must be missing something. I click on links on civfanatics and it either directs me to the home page or to a dead page.

Some of the links are either a hit or a miss. These mods are very old so so a few of them are probably gone, unfortunately.

The Rise and Rule mod is a well known mod for civ3. Here is the link to a rather new expanded version of that mod:
